"Giving back as a business gives us something bigger to work for than just making money. It gives us something that has a lasting impact."
Jordan DiMercurio started Squeaks Window Cleaning in 2023 after spending a summer as a window cleaner with a friend in Iowa. He was just 16 years old. Two years later, what started as a side hustle has grown into a thriving 11-employee business.
"We're essentially a one-stop shop for homeowners, so they don't have to go to different companies for each service," DiMercurio explains. "They can come to us and do everything with one trusted company."
Beyond business growth, Jordan's vision expanded to helping people experiencing homelessness. A portion of Squeaks' profits directly supports Grace Centers of Hope in Michigan. This compassion stems from childhood volunteer experiences with his parents, realizing that many unhoused individuals want to change their situation but lack resources beyond just food and shelter.
As Jordan puts it: "Money and goals — those things fade away, but helping people can have a generational impact. This is bigger than just making money; it's about more than just having a successful business. It's so much larger than that."
